All students will be guided and supported. Beginners will work on developing body awareness, familiarity with yoga postures, pranayama (breath control) and meditation techniques. Intermediate and advanced students will be encouraged to deepen all aspects of their yoga practice. Using the breath as a focal point, students will be guided through a series of postures progressing from warm up and easier moves to more complex. Self-Care Sunday: Summer Solstice Chakra Realignment Session

Celebrate the summer solstice by reconnecting to the light within!

Grab your mat, journal, favorite pens and colored pencils and join us for the first Self-care Sunday of summer as we take a journey through the five senses and the seven major energetic centers of the body known as the chakras. We will begin by centering with the senses of smell and taste then close our eyes and turn inward. From this introspective place of calm, we will write, sketch, and draw as we reflect on seven key aspects of our being: security, creativity, empowerment, love, expression, intuition, and connection. Once we’ve planted the seeds of our goals for the season ahead, we will flow through a yoga sequence that will balance solar and lunar energies. As our practice comes to close, a final guided meditation will help us cultivate clear vision and leave us prepared to manifest abundance all summer long.
